About The Artist

Holly Morris, a visual artist from the D.C. Metropolitan area, is best known for her dark, bold style that is heavily influenced by music, underground culture, dreams, philosophical ideas, and natural wonders.

Passionate about the arts from a very young age, she began developing her skills at the age of five. She eventually transitioned from traditional to digital mediums at age thirteen, now her favorite medium to work with. She was able to pursue digital arts with the help of her biggest supporter, her Grandfather. After seeing her skills he helped her build her first computer and obtain her first drawing tablet. It was his excitement about her artwork that kept her motivated in pursuing art.
In Holly’s junior year of high school, she sold her first large acrylic painting (depicting a night scene of a lone beech tree surrounded by fireflies) to a teacher. She then went on to on to receive multiple awards in various art shows and contests throughout both high school and college. She received high honors for being one of the top three art students upon completing her final year.
After years of dedication to her studies, she took some time off and dove into the world of heavy metal, her second passion, and consistently went to shows all over the D.C. metropolitan area for several years. This gave her massive inspiration for her art style and birthed the idea of opening her own online art and apparel shop. In 2014 Conjured Concepts was born to see where her passion could take her.
Still having much to study as an entrepreneur, she ventured into the professional world of interior design to help support herself and her project. Holly worked as a interior decorator and home staging specialist at a nationally acclaimed company for half a decade and received several medals for her projects in the annual Parade of Homes. After the death of her grandfather, she left the company and dedicated herself to her healing and her launching her small business. She currently works as a bartender and server, continuously motivated by the overwhelming love and support from her ever-growing circle of friends and family.
